Welcome to the start of a new term in Butterfly Class. We are looking forward to working with your children in Nursery and cannot wait for the latest lockdown to be over so that you can all safely come to nursery once more. Our topic when you return is space and we look forward to zooming off on an adventure together to explore the galaxy.

We are delighted that you have come to visit our class page where we hope to give you an insight into the fantastic range of learning that takes place through pictures and video clips, if your child is in our class remember to check your child's individual learning journey on tapestry to view the wonderful time they are having learning through play.

Entry to the nursery is at the slightly later time of 9am so that we do not clash with other class bubbles. Hand sanitizer is outside the nursery cloakroom and all children will wash their hands on entry and hand sanitise before joining their friends.

In the nursery class we are learning to recognise and talk about past and present events in our own life and that there are similarities and differences  between ourselves and other children in our communities. We had great fun celebrating and finding out how others celebrate. We read stories, found out information and created art. We also dipped apples in honey.

Please remember to post pictures of your child’s learning and fun on tapestry.  I can also be contacted via tapestry If you have any questions or require any help or support. Tapestry is my main form of contact. If there are any difficulties contacting me on tapestry please email at
