Summer Term 2018
Last week, we had our trip to Walton on the Naze! We loved it! We did pond dipping in the rock pools, mini-beast hunting in the long grass and then fossil hunting on the beach! Take a look at some of our snaps!
Our topic for this term is 'Rainforests'. Take a look at our tribal masks that we made!
This term in computing, we created our own audio stories using sound effects!

Spring Term 2018
This term, we have been super busy in class!
In D& T, we really enjoyed making robots. We linked this in with our topic on famous people and inventors! Here are some of our fantastic designs!
Here we are doing our one mile walk for Sport Relief!
Welcome to Year 2!
Here in Class SP, we have had a fantastic start to the year!
Our topic based on our own home town of Harwich has meant that we have had many trips out to various Historic attractions in the town including the Electric Palace cinema, two of the lighthouses in the town and also our local Redoubt fort.
In Science we have been learning about animals and we recently had a visit from 'Snakey Sue', a local snake rescue centre owner. We all loved holding and stroking her pet snakes, even our teachers Miss Pells and Mrs Flatt did too!
This half term we have been busy preparing for our Christmas extravaganza 'Its Chriiiiistmas' and we can't wait to show our parents! It's kind of like the traditional Christmas story meets 'Top of the Pops' (for those of you who know what that is!)
Stay tuned in to our class page to find out what else we have been getting up to
