Welcome to our Governors' section. 

Our Governing board is made up of a team of volunteers who work collaboratively with the Headteacher and other school leaders. They play a vital role in ensuring that the best possible education is provided for our children. They are vision setters and strategic decision makers. They meet at least 3 times a half term and the Chair of Governors- Mr Mann visits the school weekly. 

Our School Governing board is made up of

• 1 x Senior Leader representative- observer
• 2 x co-opted governors
• SBM attends Finance committee

Roles of the Governing Board

• Set the aims and objectives for the school
• Set the policies for achieving those aims and objectives
• Set the targets for achieving those aims and objectives
• Monitor and evaluate the progress the school is making towards achievement of its aims and objectives
• Be a source of challenge and support to the headteacher (a critical friend)
